Elective Courses
In general, first-degree medical students have 12 points of choice:
(1) at least 2 points of sport (only one semester allowed)
(2) At least 6 facultative courses
(3) 4 additional points that can be: sports, faculties, humanistic or free in any subject you like from other faculties (courses that do not require advancements that you do not have, of course). There are many possibilities, from the Sunni-Shiite conflict, patent registration to Spanish / German / Japanese studies.
It is recommended to take the first 2 sports points in the first year. The Technion has a variety of options for non-wave courses.
Many of the students take a regular sports course every semester, both in the second and even third year. Most students want to combine sports as it is, and this saves additional elective courses that require time to study (ie, take free points as sports points).
As for the other points of choice: It is recommended to take a faculties course in the first year - if not, it is worth taking advantage of this year for courses at the Technion and not at Bat Galim.
Because the system is relatively overloaded, it is recommended to identify schedule windows and to limit the sports / hominist courses to the relevant days in order to facilitate the search. All the sports and humanistic courses are in search under "Humanities and arts".
Tip: To identify courses that fit your schedule, you can use the http://choicefreak.appspot.com/tech/?period=20 site to make a sketch of the system and then move quickly on courses of other faculties like homestead and sports and see which professions (Because you have a recommended system, it's easy to see what is suitable for the hours without the choicefreak).
Volunteering and army service under certain number of days.
