Transportation to Hospitals System
The Medtaxi system was designed to manage the transportation to hospitals system in an efficient and convenient manner. The shuttles are for hospitals outside of Haifa: Laniado, Haemek, Hillel Yaffe and Sha'ar Menashe. To other hospitals the arrival is independently.
Every week you need to register in advance for transportation for the next week. Please note that the registration for shuttles closes every Tuesday at 24:00 (between Tuesday and Wednesday). Please make sure that you have selected the correct time and the desired ascending and descending stations. After registration, the system will show you the station output and the hours of departure and return to which you have registered. Every Wednesday you will receive an email with lists of passengers who will join you in on the shuttle bus in every day of the week, so that if a problem arises, the head of the group will be able to know who registered for the ride.
Please cancel your registration to next week's bus in case of changes when you don't plan to take a seat.
The option to cancel the registration is open until Tuseday (00:00), a week in advance.
All heads of groups please mark your status and insert your cell phone number ateach registration for a transportation. This information is essential for better contact with the driver in case of appearing problems.
However, all the students that subscribe for transportation recieve full detailed email with the complete list of students that are registered for transportation. So in any case of doubt, all the students will be able to track that information easily.
Please choose one representative who will call a transportation company (group leader or someone else), so they will not call several students at the same time.
You can not call the transportation company and ask to change the transfer time. Transportation times can not be changed, except in exceptional cases, and this will be done by the Transportation Coordinator after the approval of the Faculty. In any case of delay or non-arrival of the transportation, update the transport coordinator by email with all the details (where the departure was supposed to go, date and time, how long it did not arrive at all, etc.). If you encounter a problem with the transportation (the shuttle does not arrive, there is a desire from the whole group to change the transfer hour, etc.), please contact the following arrangers (only heads of group):

In order to register for exams, parties or events, select the "Exams / Parties / Events" link and select the event and the requested hours. Registration can be updated / canceled until the registration deadline.
Do not forget to sign up for a week's advance transportation until Tuesday at 00:00.
The faculty policy insists you to keep on times when signing up for transporations- students that forget to sign up for transportation are not allowed to do it later. So please pay attention to register on time! Put a reminder on your cell phone every week, ask your friends to remind you, even tell your mama! :) just don't forget to sign up on time.
Even if you forgot to sign up, you are still allowed to join the busses on the basis of empty seats. The transportation coordinator cannot assure you if there are enough available seats.
Please note that when you sign up for a return transporation and not planning to take it, some busses won't return if there are less than 3 students (students will have to return by public transport and travel reimbursements will be provided if needed) .
We again ask you please sign up for transportation only if you are really planning to take it!
